I played my first D&D game at age six, joined the cast of an improv show inspired by Vampire: The Masquerade in high school, and grew up to become an ‘international larper of mystery,’ travelling on epic immersive adventures around the world. A narrative designer for TTRPGs, larps, and immersive experiences, I bring what I've learned while away home to my work with my collective Fair Escape Studios. I've written for Green Ronin’s The Expanse RPG, Dziobak Larp Studios, John Wick Presents’ 7th Sea, The Fate Codex, the Toronto Star and more.
I wrote 'Every Superhero Has Theme Music,' a game about uncovering your inner Kanye West, for Indie Mixtape Vol. 2 and 'Rocks Fall, Everyone Dies: Dinosaur Edition' for the Golden Cobra Challenge.
I draw on my background in television to create with dramatic story and cinematic sensibility, examining themes of identity, memory, privilege and marginalization. I enjoy exploring the past for stories hidden in history. I am also an award-winning social media storyteller and a veteran of three Olympic Games with CBC Olympics.
